Barret is a multi-disciplinary entrepreneur and executive with experience in finance, technology, and marketing. He has launched and operated companies in highly regulated and competitive markets worldwide. Prior to cofounding the Investment Manager, Barret was Vice President of Knockout Gaming, a technology provider in the online casino and sportsbook industry. Knockout and its subsidiaries provide custom-built online gaming platforms that are licensed and regulated in jurisdictions such as the United Kingdom, Malta and others.

Knockout Gaming has offices in the United States, Malta and Spain. Barret shared responsibility with the president for the company’s operations, licensing, marketing, and client relations. He is also cofounder of American Media Group, an online marketing agency that caters to clients in emerging markets such as blockchain and cryptocurrency, among others.
